Top ranked Suduva-Mantinga (9-4) recorded its fourth loss in Marijampole. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Dzukija (9-3) 86-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Suduva-Mantinga. They outrebounded Suduva-Mantinga 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Dzukija shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Bryan Harrison (188-84, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Global Sports Plaza) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Giedrius Kurtinaitis (193-86) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Center Mindaugas Kalvelis (205-80) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for Suduva-Mantinga. Five Dzukija and four Suduva-Mantinga players scored in double figures. Suduva-Mantinga's coach Gintautas Zibuda rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dzukija have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Suduva-Mantinga at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Statyba. Dzukija will play against Delikatesas (#13) in Joniskis in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Suduva-Mantinga will play against Zanavykas (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
