Regular Season Round 10: BK Kremen - Kirovograd 77-85

Bottom-ranked BK Kremen (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Kirovograd (4-5) 85-77. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-16. But BK Kremen won second period 18-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded BK Kremen 46-19 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Dmitro Ignatenko (199-87) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and swingman Anton Rozhkov (198-88) supported him with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Kirovograd's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points by Russian center Igor Chumichev (209-89) did not help to save the game for BK Kremen. point guard Bogdan Sosoi (186-92) added 17 points for lost side. Four Kirovograd and five BK Kremen players scored in double figures. Kirovograd maintains fifth position with 4-5 record. BK Kremen at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Kirovograd will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BK Kremen will play again against Kirovograd (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
