Regular Season Round 6: Samsun - Mersin 69-78

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Mersin and 10th ranked Samsun had identical 2-3 record. But Samsun was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Mersin 78-69 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-69. Americans were the main players on the court. Four Samsun players scored in double figures. Mersin (3-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Samsun lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with Antakya. Mersin will meet league's second-placed Kayseri on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Samsun will play against Antakya (#10) in Hatay and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
