Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Science City Jena (6-5) defeated at home 14th ranked Crailsheim Merlins (3-8) 101-93 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-93. Science City Jena made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Science City Jena outrebounded Crailsheim Merlins 42-25 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists.
