We should mention about the upset which took place in Ankara, where higher ranked TED Kolejliler (3-4) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Antalya (2-5) 89-93. TED Kolejliler was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 24-15 charge of Antalya, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Antalya especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Ron Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St.) accounted for 22 points for the winning side. Serbian center Jovo Stanojevic (208-77, agency: Beo Basket) came up with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Serbian power forward Vanja Plisnic (207-80, agency: Beo Basket) added 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for TED Kolejliler in the defeat. Five Antalya and four TED Kolejliler players scored in double figures. TED Kolejliler's coach Ercument Sunter rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Antalya moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted TED Kolejliler dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Antalya's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Mersin (#16) in Akdeniz which should be theoretically an easy game.
