Regular Season Round 10: Horsholm - Falcon 73-68

The most important game in the last round took place in Horsholm between third ranked Falcon (6-4) and fifth ranked Horsholm (5-5) on Saturday night. Falcon was defeated by Horsholm in a tough game on the road 68-73. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 24-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Maja Gerlyng-Hansen (180-88, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). Guard Anne Kristensen (172-87) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) added 18 points in the effort for Falcon. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Horsholm moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vaerlose. Falcon at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Horsholm is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Horsens (#8) on the road in the next round. Falcon will play against the league's second-placed Lemvig (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
