The game in Rovno was also quite interesting. Second ranked Khartsyzsk (9-1) played at the court of 7th ranked BC-93 Pulsar (2-8). Khartsyzsk did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 83-64 on Sunday. The game without a history. Khartsyzsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Khartsyzsk outrebounded BC-93 Pulsar 38-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by BC-93 Pulsar's players. It was a great evening for center Anatolii Chelovan (206-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). point guard Pavlo Copich (180-86) helped adding 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Khartsyzsk players scored in double figures. Khartsyzsk's coach Vladimir Bryaukhavetshy allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) responded with 40 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Sergey Roman (205-92) scored 5 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Khartsyzsk. They maintain second place with 9-1 record behind leader Musson. BC-93 Pulsar lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Koksokh-Stal. Khartsyzsk will meet at home Avantazh-Politekhnik (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. BC-93 Pulsar will play against Ternopil-TNEU (#10) and hope to secure a win.
