Regular Season Round 6: Sangalhos - Leca 79-65

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Sangalhos (4-2) beat at home 8th ranked Leca (1-4) 79-65 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Sangalhos. Leca was better in fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sangalhos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for swingman Emanuel Silva (188-79) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Nuno Bizarro (192-80) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Daniel Ramos (193-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Gonzalo Ranito added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Leca. Sangalhos moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Electrico FC. Leca lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Sangalhos will face league's second-placed Guifoes at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Leca will play against Illiabum (#6) in Ilhavo.
