Regular Season Round 10: Akhisar Bld - Final Genclik 88-70

Very expected game when 13th ranked Final Genclik (3-7) lost on the road to fifth ranked Akhisar Bld (7-3) 88-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Akhisar Bld. Final Genclik was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American forward Tyrone Nelson (206-85, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Serdar Yavuz (184-82) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) replied with 23 points and 9 rebounds and forward Oguzhan Sungur (201-91) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Final Genclik. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Akhisar Bld have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-3 record. Final Genclik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with seven games lost. Akhisar Bld will face higher ranked Darussafaka (#3) in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Final Genclik will play at home against the league's second-placed Usak (#2).
