Very expected game in Vilnius where 15th ranked Nafta Universitetas (4-12) was defeated by seventh ranked Statyba (11-5) 85-80 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nafta Universitetas was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Statyba dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Nafta Universitetas' 42. Forward Darius Tarvydas (200-91) fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Ovidijus Varanauskas (187-91) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
