Regular Season Round 12: Ternopil - Pulsar 64-99

Bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked BC-93 Pulsar (3-8) 99-64. The game was mostly controlled by BC-93 Pulsar. Ternopil-TNEU was better in fourth quarter 27-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Ternopil-TNEU 51-35 including a 41-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) who scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90, agency: New Trend Agency) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Five BC-93 Pulsar players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Vitaliy Zhornyak (179-93) who recorded 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Anton Nifonton (190-89) added 16 points respectively. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. BC-93 Pulsar moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Koksokh-Stal. Ternopil-TNEU at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will have a break next round. Ternopil-TNEU will play again at home against BC-93 Pulsar (#6) in Rovno and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
