No shocking result in a game when second ranked Crvena Zvezda (9-1) beat 5th ranked Srbobran Reahem (5-5) in Beograd 85-77 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-77. Crvena Zvezda made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Aleksandra Stanacev (167-94) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 4 assists. Bosnian forward Ana Niksic (181-91) accounted for 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Crvena Zvezda players scored in double figures. Power forward Jelica Domazet (188-88) came up with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Milena Radosevic (173-87) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively for Srbobran Reahem in the defeat. Crvena Zvezda keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Jagodina 2001. Newly promoted Srbobran Reahem keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Student. Crvena Zvezda will meet at home Stara Pazova (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Srbobran Reahem will play against Vrbas Medela and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
