Gussing Knights (#5) forced the game against Kapfenberg Bulls (#3) into an overtime, but lost by eleven points 76-87 on Sunday night. The game took place in Gussing. But the guests from Kapfenberg were better at the end. Gussing Knights were trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 17-13 charge of Kapfenberg Bulls, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. Gussing Knights' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kapfenberg Bulls have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Klosterneub. and Gmunden. Gussing Knights at the other side keep the fifth position with four games lost. Kapfenberg Bulls will face UBSC Graz (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Gussing Knights will play against Gmunden Swans in Gmunden and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
