Very important is a road loss of second ranked Usak (8-3) against fifteenth ranked Final Genclik (4-7) on Friday night. Visiting Usak was defeated by Final Genclik in a tough game in Bursa 71-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Usak. The hosts were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 22-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. Final Genclik made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Final Genclik outrebounded Usak 37-23 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Usak was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for guard Mustafa Gucyetmez (188-80) who led the winners and scored 21 points. American power forward Sean Carter (205-88, college: Massachusetts) accounted for 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) came up with 16 points and the other American import forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) added 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Usak in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Genclik moved-up to fourteenth place. Usak at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Final Genclik will play against Istanbulspor (#15) on the road in the next round. Usak will play against the league's second-placed Darussafaka (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
