Regular Season Round 26: Ferro-ZNTU - Khimik 105-91

An interesting game for Ferro-ZNTU (14-4) which hosted in Zaporozhye 3rd ranked Khimik (11-5). First ranked Ferro-ZNTU managed to get a 14-point victory 105-91. The game was mostly controlled by Ferro-ZNTU. Khimik managed to win third quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ferro-ZNTU forced 22 Khimik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Khimik's players. 31 personal fouls committed by Khimik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Cameron Moore (208-90, college: UAB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) contributed with 23 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. American-Bulgarian point guard Willie Deane (188-80, college: Purdue, agency: Higher Vision Sports) replied with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Khimik. Khimik's coach Zoran Martic rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ferro-ZNTU have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-4 record. Khimik at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
