Very predictable result when fifth ranked Alba Iulia (9-4) smashed at home 12th ranked Cluj Napoca (3-10) 87-35 on Saturday. Alba Iulia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Cluj Napoca's 26. Alba Iulia forced 22 Cluj Napoca turnovers and outrebounded them 44-21 including a 21-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Amanda Thompson (183-87, college: Oklahoma) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian guard Jovana Vukoje (174-86) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Alba Iulia's coach Tomas Bilek felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
