Regular Season Round 12: Beocin - Student 44-62

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Beocin (3-8) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Student Radnicki (6-5) 62-44. The game was mostly controlled by Student Radnicki. Beocin was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Student Radnicki forced 26 Beocin turnovers. The winners were led by guard Milena Popovic (171-86) who scored that evening 13 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and guard Emilija Stojanovic (169-92) supported her with 13 points and 4 assists. Even 12 points by point guard Branislava Momic (178-91) did not help to save the game for Beocin. Guard Jovana Grahovac (172-86) added 4 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Student Radnicki maintains fifth position with 6-5 record. Beocin lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with eight games lost. Student Radnicki's next round opponent will be league's leader Crvena Zvezda in Beograd and it may be quite challenging game. Beocin will play on the road against Sabac (#4).
