NKL top team - Mazeikiai (14-4) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Meresta (10-8) 76-68. Mazeikiai forced 23 Meresta turnovers. The best player for the winners was Rokas Giedraitis (198-92) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Belarusian center Aleh Kojenets (208-77, college: NC-Wilmington) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Liudas Radavicius (188-88) who recorded 20 points and 4 assists and center Deividas Keburys (202-90) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Mazeikiai have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-4 record. Meresta lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost.
