We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tuebingen where 12th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-7) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Walter Tigers (5-6) 83-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Walter Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Walter Tigers outrebounded Eisbaeren Bremerhaven 33-17 including a 24-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of center Kenny Frease (213-89, college: Xavier) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Reggie Redding (196-88, college: Villanova) who added 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest.
