Serbian guard Bosko Stojakovic (196-84) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Timba Timosoara's coach Bogdan Murarescu used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Croatian power forward Marijo Hajdic (206-89) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian guard Franjo Bubalo (194-88) added 15 points in the effort for Miercurea Ciuc. Four Miercurea Ciuc players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Timba Timosoara maintains thirteenth position with 4-8 record. Miercurea Ciuc lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 11 games lost. Timba Timosoara's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Timisoara to the arena Timisoara.
