Regular Season Round 12: Aabyhoj - SISU 50-83

Dameligaen top team - SISU (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Aabyhoj (3-9) 83-50. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Aabyhoj's 30. SISU forced 28 Aabyhoj turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of American power forward Nathalie Reshard (183-86, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Trine Duelund (182-84) who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Maria Jespersen (182-94) with 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Tine Randrup-Thomsen (177-94) scored 6 points and 5 rebounds. SISU have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Aabyhoj at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. SISU are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Horsens (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aabyhoj will play against Horsholm and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
