The game in Lutsk supposed to be also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Koksokh-Stal (4-10) played at the court of eighth ranked VolinBasket (4-4). VolinBasket did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 98-80. The game without a history. VolinBasket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. VolinBasket outrebounded Koksokh-Stal 34-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was power forward Vadim Reka (206-83) who scored 21 points. Forward Dmitro Shvagrynskyi (196-89) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Jan Selivanov (200-79) who recorded 26 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Aleksander Kolomiychuk (202-91) added 23 points respectively. Four Koksokh-Stal players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. VolinBasket moved-up to seventh place. Koksokh-Stal at the other side dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. VolinBasket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Tornado (#4) in Odessa and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Koksokh-Stal will play at home against Ternopil-TNEU (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
