Everything went according to plan in Sanliurfa where fourth ranked Mersin Univ. (4-3) outscored bottom-ranked Harranspor (0-7) 95-44 on Sunday. The game without a history. Mersin Univ. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Harranspor to just 2 points in first quarter and to 14 points in first half. Mersin Univ. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Harranspor's 22. Mersin Univ. forced 36 Harranspor turnovers and outrebounded them 54-33 including a 26-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Mersin Univ. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Harranspor's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Seyma Kutun (-93) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and center Sureyya Yasemin Atinc (-85) who added 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest.
