Regular Season Round 27: DniproAzot - BC Kyiv 70-61

Rather expected game in Dniprodzerzhynsk where 13th ranked BC Kyiv (4-14) was defeated by eleventh ranked DniproAzot (7-11) 70-61 on Sunday. BC Kyiv trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 18-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 61-70 at the end of the game. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward Alan Wiggins (206-85, college: USF) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Sam Muldrow (205-88, college: S.Carolina) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. DniproAzot's coach Audrius Prakuraitis used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and guard Anthony Goods (191-87, college: Stanford) added 24 points respectively. DniproAzot maintains eleventh place with 7-11 record. BC Kyiv lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Dnipro. DniproAzot will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Kyiv will play against Mykolaiv (#9) in Mykolaiv and hope to secure a win.
