BBL top team - Brose Bask. (10-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Phoenix Hagen (5-7) in Bamberg 107-80. The game without a history. Brose Bask. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. Brose Bask. forced 24 Phoenix Hagen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 31 personal fouls committed by Phoenix Hagen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Maik Zirbes (208-90) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds and Slovenian forward Bostjan Nachbar (207-80) who added 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest.
