Not a big story in a game when 17th ranked Pi Koleji (3-10) lost to fourteenth ranked Final Genclik (6-7) in Bursa 81-98 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Final Genclik. Pi Koleji was better in fourth quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Final Genclik looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Quite impressive performance for point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 4 steals. point guard Esat Sinanoglu (188-82) contributed with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Halit Serdar Gungor (-77) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Pi Koleji. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Final Genclik have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Pi Koleji lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with ten games lost. Final Genclik will face Balikesir (#10) on the road in the next round. Pi Koleji will play against Darussafaka (#3) in Istanbul.
