Everything went according to plan when third ranked Gruner Stern Keltern (7-3) won against at home 7th ranked Friendsfactory Germering (4-6) 68-60 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. The best player for the winners was forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-89) who scored 21 points. American swingman Alissa Pierce (177-86) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Viktoria Wohlers (190) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and Polish forward Mirela Pultorak (186-88) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
