Everything could happen in Ankara at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Erdemir and 11th ranked Turk Telekom had identical 3-6 record. But Turk Telekom was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Erdemir 103-94. Erdemir outrebounded Turk Telekom 52-41 including 39 on the defensive glass. Turk Telekom was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American guard Gerrod Henderson (192-78, college: Louisiana Tech) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Erdemir (4-6) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Tofas and Aliaga. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Mersin and Olin Edirne. Erdemir will play against higher ranked TED Kolejliler (#7) in Ankara in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Banvit BK (#5) in Balikesir and hopes to get back on the winning track.
