Regular Season Round 12: Noerdlingen - Dragons 81-77

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Dragons Rhoendorf (11-1) on the court of sixth ranked Noerdlingen on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Noerdlingen 81-77. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Dragons Rhoendorf. Dragons Rhoendorf was trailing by 11 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 26-19 charge of Noerdlingen, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American guard Brandon Hogg (186-89, college: S.Indiana) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!). The other American import forward Kedrick Johnson (193-83, college: Lee) contributed with 7 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American Geddes Robinson (195-87, college: Utah Valley, agency: SDJ Sports) replied with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Nick Larsen (188-83) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Dragons Rhoendorf. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Noerdlingen (7-5) moved-up to third place in Group South, which they share with Langen and Licher Baeren. Dragons Rhoendorf at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Noerdlingen is looking forward to face Licher Baeren (#5) on the road in the next round. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against TSV Troester (#12) in Breitenguessbach and is hoping to win this game.
