Very predictable result when third ranked Herten Lions (9-3) won against on the road 9th ranked Hannover Tigers (4-8) 90-80 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Herten Lions. Hannover Tigers was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Herten Lions shot 26 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Hannover Tigers only scored nine points from the stripe. Herten Lions had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They moved-up to second place in Group North, which they share with Rist Wedel. Hannover Tigers lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Herten Lions will face BSV Wulfen (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hannover Tigers will play against Oldenburg.
