There was a small surprise in Bonn where eleventh ranked s Oliver Baskets (6-7) defeated 9th ranked Telekom Baskets (5-7) 85-72. The game without a history. s Oliver Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Courtney Pigram (185-85, college: E.Tenn.St.) nailed 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Dwayne Anderson (198-86, college: Villanova) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Jared Jordan (188-84, college: Marist) came up with 15 points and 8 assists and American-Jamaican forward Patrick Ewing Jr. (203-84, college: Georgetown) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Telekom Baskets in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. s Oliver Baskets moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Phoenix Hagen and Bayreuth.
