The game between Top Four teams took place in Zaporozhye. Second ranked host Ferro-ZNTU (16-5) smashed one of their biggest challengers Azovmash (13-5) 96-63. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-63. Ferro-ZNTU dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Azovmash's 26 and made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Azovmash 45-29 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ferro-ZNTU looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American R.T. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ferro-ZNTU maintains second position with 16-5 record behind leader Budivelnyk. Azovmash at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Ferro-ZNTU are looking forward to face Halychyna (#6) in Lviv in the next round. Azovmash will play on the road against Khimik in Yuzhny and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
