Regular Season Round 19: Svendborg - SISU 95-81

An interesting game for Svendborg (15-1) which hosted in Svendborg 4th placed SISU (10-6). First ranked Svendborg managed to get a 14-point victory 95-81. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 59-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). American power forward Donald Rutherford (199-87, college: Catawba) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American center Zack Moritz (210-88, college: Boise St.) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) added 21 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Svendborg maintains first place with 15-1 record. SISU at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Svendborg are looking forward to face Horsholm (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SISU will play against the league's second-placed Bakken (#2) in Aarhus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
