Everything went according to plan when third ranked Orman (7-2) won against on the road 6th ranked Mersin Univ. (4-5) 67-62 on Friday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 15-12. But Mersin Univ. won second period 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Mersin Univ. 50-34 including a 38-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mersin Univ. was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Orman moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Bursa BSB. Loser Mersin Univ. keeps the sixth position with five games lost.
