Round 10 in TKB2L means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Istanbul where host Asistanbul (5-3) beat league's leader Bursa BSB (7-2) 84-66 on Friday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Asistanbul. Bursa BSB managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asistanbul forced 24 Bursa BSB turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Bursa BSB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Arzu Ozyigit (190-72) fired a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Swingman Ayse Cora (175-93) chipped in 24 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Four Asistanbul players scored in double figures. American center Whitney Jones (183-87, college: Arkansas) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and the former international guard Pinar Turan (170-82) added 11 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Bursa BSB's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Asistanbul have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group B. Bursa BSB at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Orman. They were replaced at the leadership position by Cankaya.
