Rather predictable result in Krivoy Rog where sixth ranked Halychyna (12-10) defeated 9th ranked Kryvbasbasket (9-13) 70-59 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Halychyna. Kryvbasbasket managed to win second period 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kryvbasbasket to just 3 points in first quarter. Halychyna made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Kryvbasbasket turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds.
