Regular Season Round 15: Cuxhaven - Karlsruhe 93-92

The most exciting game of round 15 in the ProA took place in Cuxhaven. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th placed BG Karlsruhe (10-5) to fifth ranked Cuxhaven BasCats (9-6) 93-92 on Friday evening. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 36-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American power forward Evan Harris (206-86, college: Harvard, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Naturalized American swingman Jeremy Dunbar (195-88, college: Arkansas Tech) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Cuxhaven BasCats players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Rouven Roessler (200-80) with 22 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Jaivon Harris (197-82, college: Ohio) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Cuxhaven BasCats maintains fifth place with 9-6 record, which they share with Chemnitz. BG Karlsruhe at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Duesseldorf. Cuxhaven BasCats is looking forward to face NBC (#11) in Nurnberg in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BG Karlsruhe will play on the road against Kirchheim Knights (#15) and is hoping to win this game.
