Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Phoenix Hagen (6-8) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Bayern Muenchen (8-6) 123-97 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Bayern Muenchen. Phoenix Hagen was better in second period 33-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bayern Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Phoenix Hagen's 26 and made 32-of-39 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game.
