The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Christi Thomas (191-82, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. The former international Saynur Tozlu (189-86) contributed with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Botas' coach Olcay Orak allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
