Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Besiktas (7-5) beat on the road 12th ranked Olin Edirne (3-9) 83-67. The game without a history. Besiktas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Besiktas outrebounded Olin Edirne 38-21 including a 24-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Slovenian power forward Gasper Vidmar (211-87) who scored that evening 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international power forward Cevher Ozer (206-83, agency: 1x1 Sports) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Besiktas' coach Erman Kunter allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 22 points by point guard Mehmet Yagmur (188-87) did not help to save the game for Olin Edirne. Belarusian center Artsiom Parakhouski (210-87, college: Radford) added 10 points. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with TED Kolejliler. Olin Edirne lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with Turk Telekom and Gaziantep. Besiktas will play against Erdemir (#8) at home in the next round. Olin Edirne will play against Karsiyaka (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
