The most exciting game of round 31 in the Superleague took place in Zaporozhye. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of much higher ranked Ferro-ZNTU (16-6) to sixth ranked Halychyna (13-10) 91-90 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ferro-ZNTU. Ferro-ZNTU cut a 15-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. Halychyna made 31-of-40 free shots (77.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Ferro-ZNTU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Darrel Mitchell (181-84, college: LSU, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 24 points and 4 steals. Halychyna's coach Zeljko Lukajic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import forward Cameron Moore (208-90, college: UAB) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Halychyna and five Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. Halychyna have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hoverla.
