Regular Season Round 11: Vogosca - Bosna 86-94

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sarajevo: Bosna ASA BHT (#3) and Vogosca (#8). Vogosca was defeated at home 86-94 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vogosca. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vogosca won third quarter 21-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for swingman Alin Demic (202-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Nermin Buza (206-91) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Mujo Tuljkovic (203-79, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 32 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mario Filipovic (202-79) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Bosna ASA BHT and four Vogosca players scored in double figures. Vogosca's coach Muriz Hamidovic tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bosna ASA BHT (8-3) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Mladost. Loser Vogosca keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Varda HE. Bosna ASA BHT will meet at home league's leader Capljina Lasta in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vogosca will play against Posusje (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
