There was no surprise when 10th ranked St.Polten (2-11) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Gussing Knights (7-6) 72-67. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. St.Polten was ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 25-11 charge of Gussing Knights, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 St.Polten turnovers. 31 personal fouls committed by St.Polten helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
