Very important is a home loss of third ranked Kayseri (8-3) against fifth ranked Tarsus Bld (8-3) on Wednesday night. Host Kayseri was defeated by Tarsus Bld in Kayseri 74-63. The game was mostly controlled by Tarsus Bld. Kayseri was better in second period 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Tarsus Bld won last quarter 21-11. It was a great evening for guard Danielle Marie Robinson (178-89, college: Oklahoma) who led her team to a victory scoring 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American Delisha Milton-Jones (186-74, college: Florida, agency: Josep and Nicolas) helped adding 17 points. American power forward Asjha Jones (191-80, college: Connecticut) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Greek forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Tarsus Bld. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Kayseri. Tarsus Bld will play against Edremit (#13) in Balikesir in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kayseri will play at home against Ceyhan Bld (#6) in Adana and hopes to get back on the winning track.
