Everything went according to plan in Istanbul where second ranked Galatasaray (10-2) outscored 11th ranked TED Ankara (3-9) 85-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Galatasaray forced 21 TED Ankara turnovers. The best player for the winners was American point guard Lindsay Whalen (175-82, college: Minnesota) who scored 19 points and 5 assists. The other American import center Sylvia Fowles (198-85, college: LSU) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89) who recorded 20 points and American center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
