Rather expected game when 18th ranked LTi 46ers (4-13) were smashed by sixteenth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (6-11) in Giessen 79-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Deutsche Bank Skyliners. LTi 46ers was better in fourth quarter 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American players dominated also this game. Forward Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Pro One Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Quantez Robertson (189-84, college: Auburn) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. LaQuan Prowell (203-84, college: Auburn, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) answered with 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and guard Ryan Brooks (193-88, college: Temple, agency: Pro One Sports) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for LTi 46ers. LTi 46ers' coach Matthias Fischer let to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Deutsche Bank Skyliners moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with NY Phantoms. LTi 46ers lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will face higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. LTi 46ers will play against ratiopharm Ulm (#5).
