Very expected game when 7th ranked Burhaniye Bld (5-7) lost to third ranked Botas (10-2) in Adana 52-69 on Saturday. The game without a history. Botas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for center Tilbe Senyurek (188-95) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds. Busra Akgun (183-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Botas' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Busra Yuksel (-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and Cansu Meryem Altay (-95) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Burhaniye Bld. Botas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Altay Konak. Loser Burhaniye Bld dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Botas will face Yalova (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Burhaniye Bld will play against Celtispor in Bursa.
