The game between Top Four teams took place in Botevgrad. 4th placed host Balkan (6-6) lost to second ranked Levski Sofia (9-2) 69-52. The game was mostly controlled by Levski Sofia. Balkan was better in second period 13-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Balkan to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Levski Sofia dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Balkan's 20. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian point guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Balkan players scored in double figures. Levski Sofia have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-2 record behind leader Lukoil Academik. Balkan at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Levski Sofia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Lukoil Academik.
