Rather expected game when 8th ranked Mykolaiv (11-13) was smashed by sixth ranked Khimik (13-9) in Yuzhny 86-45 on Saturday. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mykolaiv to just 5 points in third quarter. Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. American-Bulgarian point guard Willie Deane (188-80, college: Purdue, agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 9 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Anthony Shavies (191-83, college: Missouri St., agency: Interperformances) answered with 9 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Josh Mayo (182-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 4 points in the effort for Mykolaiv. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Khimik maintains sixth place with 13-9 record.
