An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Konya. First ranked Selcuk Universitesi faced 4th ranked Darussafaka. Host Selcuk Universitesi (13-3) defeated guests from Istanbul (11-5) 84-79. Darussafaka was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Darussafaka was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American Bill Clark (195-88, college: Duquesne) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Jeremy Granger (185-90, college: E.Illinois) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Selcuk Universitesi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Serbian center Aleksandar Petrovic (204-87) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) added 19 points in the effort for Darussafaka. Four Selcuk Universitesi and five Darussafaka players scored in double figures. Selcuk Universitesi maintains first position with 13-3 record, which they share with Usak and Maliye Milli. Darussafaka at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Selcuk Universitesi will play against Baskent Genclik (#15) in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Darussafaka will play at home against Gelisim (#9) in Izmir and hopes to get back on the winning track.
